Your new role
Working as a Senior Commercial Underwriter you will:
Develop a Go-To-Market strategy that sets the product + service apart.
Drive growth by focusing on renewals, new business + endorsements.
Manage your own portfolio and work alongside Authorised Rep's and business owners.
Network by attending industry events to expand new business opportunities, making valuable connections along the way.
Handle complex queries regarding products across a range of issues to ensure acceptable outcomes.
Build good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to a high professional standard.
Adhere to high quality assurance standards.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Knowledge of Commercial Packages, Motor Fleet, and Commercial wordings.
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Commercial Underwriter or Senior SME Underwriter.
Competent knowledge of the renewals process.
Cert IV or Diploma in General Insurance (would be advantageous).
Ability to work alongside Authorised Rep's to build client relationships.
A strong attention to detail and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
