We prioritise iterative approaches, continually fine-tuning our solutions to meet the evolving needs of our clients.About the opportunityWe have an exciting newly created position available for a talented Senior Commercial Performance Analyst to join our team to support our Ventures business. As the Senior Commercial Performance Analyst – Ventures, you will play a key role in driving analytics and reporting within the Atom hub; a dedicated team building a new Virtual Health Business.Key Responsibilities will include:Use advance analytics techniques, systems and software to resolve key questions in a timely fashion by developing fact-based strategic recommendations.Understand different data sources available to the team, identify issues/gaps with the data and provide recommendations to fill or resolve them.Perform complex data analysis, create high quality dashboards/reports.Identify key insights and develop strategic recommendations.Enhance data management processes, tools and capabilities by contributing to continuous improvement activity and lifting skills by sharing knowledge and experience.Work and partner with business users, subject matter experts and technical teams to identify and translate requirements, evaluate data sources and ability to deliver, provide estimates to the business users.Provide regular progress updates to key stakeholders, present findings and manage their expectations.About youYou will have at least 4 years' experience in analysing data ideally based on large and complex data warehouses using SQL (Teradata/SAS) and Excel, as well as new tools when required.Experience in data visualization will be essential for this role (Preferred: Tableau, PowerBI).You will have an eye for detail, be proactive in your approach and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.You will be a self-starter and be able to work autonomously.Being solutions focused and a team player that enables success within the hub.What we promiseOur environment is hyperflexible with hybrid working arrangements a well-established norm.A career with usAt Medibank, we believe work is something we do, not somewhere we go.
