Analysis & Reporting (Mining, Resources & Energy)Full timeBeach Energy is now looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Commercial Operations Analyst to join the Corporate Strategy and Commercial Division in our head office in Adelaide.About the RoleAs part of a team of professionals in the Short-Term Markets and Trading team, this exciting opportunity will require you to be engaged in a wide range of commercial, marketing and trading activities associated with Beach's Australian portfolio of energy products. You will work on a diverse range of commercial and marketing agreements spanning the upstream, midstream, and downstream value chain, which includes Beach's production, processing, transport, and domestic sales portfolio.You will actively enhance, protect, and optimise the enterprise value of Beach Energy through our Australian assets.Key responsibilities will include:Managing the commercial operations of new and existing hydrocarbon sales, processing, transport, and joint venture (JV) agreements.Leading and supporting customer negotiations, executing short term hydrocarbon sales, gas swaps, transportation agreements, and developing marketing strategies.Contributing to and developing strategies for trading hubs, spot market sales, and ensuring value optimisation of Beach's portfolio of products.Building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.Ensuring compliance with National Gas Law and other regulatory requirements.Supporting management and colleagues and fostering a collaborative team environment.About YouYou will bring a proven track record in navigating, assessing, and managing commercial agreements, with strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail. Your ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team will be key to your success.
