Senior Commercial Lawyer

Your new role As an EL1 Commercial Lawyer, you will provide high-level legal advice on complex commercial matters.
Your responsibilities will include: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
Advising on procurement processes and compliance with relevant legislation.
Managing legal risks and providing strategic advice to senior stakeholders.
Leading and mentoring a team of junior lawyers.
Liaising with external legal counsel and other government departments.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have: A degree in Law and admission as a legal practitioner in Australia.
Extensive experience in commercial law, preferably within the public sector.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
You will hold a baseline clearance or higher.
