About the ROLE Full-time Permanent Opportunity in Adelaide SA As Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you will report to the Head of Finance - Australia and work collaboratively with key stakeholders of the Business, including the CoE (Centres of Excellence) Leadership and Finance team members locally and globally.
The Senior Commercial Finance Analyst will support operational leadership team members by bringing an innovative financial lens to various operational decisions.
You will drive continuous improvement and embed commercial finance capability upliftment across the business.
Act as a trusted advisor, offering financial insights and strategic initiatives to help drive performance improvements. Communicate with CoE Leadership and operations teams concerning budgeting and forecasting. Provide business case modelling support for decision-making and recommendations on spending. Provide commercial input, analysis, and recommendations to the Head of Finance on a regular and ad-hoc basis. Provide general purpose and special purpose commercial and financial reports and analysis. Monitor and track financial performance against plan and enhance financial reports with operational commentary. Facilitate detailed discussions with key stakeholders on variances and root causes of financial performance. Proactively identify commercial improvement opportunities, enabling effective business partnering. About YOU Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, complex environment with strict deadlines. Strong levels of rigor and demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness in solving problems. Strong analytical skills, advanced Microsoft Excel, and proficiency with Accounting Systems. Experience dealing with complex commercial projects. Tertiary qualifications in Business, Economics, or Finance/Accounting. CPA/CA or working towards. At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Experience managing the financial aspects of Utility infrastructure projects, including project finance. Ability to present financial data effectively using visual tools. Prior experience supporting rapid business growth.
