As part of their growth journey, they have identified an opportunity for a Senior Commercial Analyst to join the team at Moore Park. Reporting directly to the CFO, in this role you will be able to make your mark on Analytics as you provide key insights that shape strategic decision-making across Foodco. Specific responsibilities will include:
Conducting in-depth commercial analysis and reporting to drive performance across our stores and channels. Optimizing pricing strategies through data analysis and identifying opportunities to enhance profitability. Preparing and reviewing business cases for promotional activities, new product development, and franchise store openings. Leading management and Board reporting, automating and refining financial insights to ensure our leadership stays ahead. Overseeing the annual budgeting and rolling forecast process, providing visibility into future financial impacts. Supporting the development of data structures and systems to provide key relevant information for decision-making. Leading and mentoring a Junior Business Analyst, ensuring high-quality analysis by fostering their professional development. The ideal applicant will have the following skills and experience:
Strong financial planning and analysis skills. Pricing analysis and financial modelling, using tools such as Power BI and Excel to create insightful, commercially focused dashboards. A proactive approach to drive projects, with strong influencing skills to foster collaboration and ensure results. A CA, CPA, or similar tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance. A background in QSR, retail or franchise environments would be advantageous. This is a great opportunity to have an impact at the 'shop floor' level up to the boardroom.
