Paying $150K - $160K + super + bonus. Company Background Our client is one of Australia's leading deliverers of critical infrastructure and a household name within the utility space. A recent decision to improve the internal delivery and presentation of reporting and analysis has identified the need for a Senior Commercial Analyst to join the team.
The Role This role sits in one of the largest divisions, where a number of the business's key (and largest) projects are delivered. The team is packed full of smart, driven analysts who are led and mentored by some of Sydney's foremost finance leaders in the Infrastructure space.
More specifically the role will:
Be the finance lead on allocated investment cases, supporting the business in pricing decisions, developing insightful reporting and contributing to forecasting processes. Design a driver-based model to translate business initiatives and commercial performance into financial objectives. Provide financial insights through performance dashboards for all key financial and non-financial measures. Develop an understanding of key business financial reporting, including P&L and cash flow. Support the monthly closing, quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process. Understand and apply Financial Models that produce the cash flow data for Investment, Strategy, Business Planning and capital raising process. To be considered our client would love to meet candidates who have:
Significant analytical and modelling skills in particular around acquisitions and cashflow. A strong foundational understanding of accounting principles especially around P&L analysis, cash flow, and budgeting, forecasting. Candidates out of Infrastructure, Property (or similar capital-intensive industries) would also be highly regarded.
