The Senior Commercial Analyst role provides high quality, timely reporting to the Executive, Board and Private Equity shareholders. Core to the role is producing the monthly management and board reporting, forecasting, and the annual budget process. You will also standardise the information flow across the business and ensure there is consistent and efficient production of meeting reporting requirements. In addition, the role will work on ad hoc reporting and analysis projects, that could include:
Requests from the PE shareholders; ROI metrics including capital expenditure and M&A; Developing the KPI dashboard to support BU's; Performing scenario analysis to evaluate financial impacts of decisions. This is a genuine opportunity for a highly motivated senior finance or analytical professional to stamp their mark on the continued growth and long-term success of a rapidly growing PE owned enterprise. The below list will describe you:
Detail-oriented with high levels of numeric and financial acumen. A focus on accuracy and sense-checking numbers prior to presentation. Ability to organise data, information and reports in a structured and logical way to simplify ad hoc reporting requirements. An internal customer service attitude with stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal relationship skills, in particular building constructive and long-term relationships with both internal and external parties. Demonstrated proactive behaviour with a focus on constant improvement. Ability to identify problems, suggest solutions and make improvements. Strong technology-based reporting skills (such as PowerBI) and advanced spreadsheeting skills. Experience within a corporate FP&A function or professional services consulting division (i.e. transaction services, financial due diligence, or deal advisory) would be ideal.
