About the roleOur client has recently invested in state-of-the-art AMADA laser and turret combination with automation, along with a top-of-the-line Brake Press. These advanced machines are set to revolutionize their internal processes and elevate services to external clients.
We're looking for a flexible individual to take charge. As the Machine Programming and Operations Manager, you'll oversee the programming, operation, and optimization of these new machines. You'll also be responsible for crafting and managing production plans and schedules, ensuring efficiency and excellence.
Key Responsibilities for the role* Program, set, and operate the AMADA machines.* Interpret drawings and designs to ensure precision in production.* Oversee production schedules, ensuring efficiency and quality.* Lead and develop a team, fostering collaboration and communication across all levels.
Skills & experience * Mechanical Engineering or trade qualification, or extensive experience as a machinist.* Proven experience in programming and operating CNC machines, with AMADA experience highly preferred.* Strong technical skills and the ability to work from detailed drawings.* Leadership potential or experience in a team leader role.* A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
