What you'll do Reporting to the Chapter Lead of Service Foundations and DevX, you will play a key role in the design, implementation and operations of the critical components like DNS, CDN, WAF, APIGateway and GraphQL.
You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and stability of our traffic management technologies like Akamai, Apigee and Apollo.
This is a role for a technologist with a strong background in Infrastructure engineering who can apply their experience and knowledge to influence decisions and develop highly scalable and reliable services.
In this role you will have the opportunity to sharpen these skills while evangelising and developing new capabilities that are critical to the organisation's technology strategy.
Define and drive a squad's roadmap Discuss with stakeholders to refine priorities and allocate resources Work closely with Architects and Engineers to design, build, deploy, manage and operate environments Coach and assist engineers to uplift capability and spread domain knowledge Bring the best practices from across the Engineering practice into the delivery cycle Evaluate all platform and service consumption to optimise costs What you'll bring We expect strong skills with the following tech stack Cloud - Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform Domain Naming Systems - DNS Certificate Management - SSL/TLS APIGateway GraphQL Technologies DevSecOps Observability Platforms Specific experience which align with current state Apigee - APIGateway Apollo - GraphQL Federation Cloud - Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform Code - Powershell, Bash, C#, .NET Core, NodeJS, GoLang CI - Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins Infrastructure - Kubernetes (AKS / GKE), Terraform Observability - App Insights, Dynatrace, Azure Log Analytics, Google Cloud Monitoring What you'll experience ???????
