Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure)

About the Role As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-based systems.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and solutions that leverage Azure technologies to meet business objectives.
Required Skills: Minimum 5 years experience designing and implementing cloud solutions.
Broad Infrastructure experience across VMware, Windows, Linux and networking.
Very strong experience configuring and securing Azure cloud services.
AWS will be highly regarded.
Strong Terraform knowledge.
Experience with automation tools such as Azure DevOps and Ansible will be highly regarded.
Experience within the architecture domains (business, information, technology and application).
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills including the ability to influence key stakeholders through collaboration.
Mentoring operational staff in supporting new technologies and solutions.
Certification requirements (mandatory): Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification requirements (desirable): AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional will be highly regarded.
Azure Databricks Platform Architect certification will be highly regarded.
Azure Security certifications will be highly regarded.
TOGAF or similar will be highly regarded.
Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate or Professional certification will be highly regarded.
