Job Description Working closely with the account management and project engineering teams at Leidos you will be able to utilise your hyperscale cloud experience to champion innovative solutions with creativity that enable moving to a new future state.
You will lead discussions with key customer stakeholders and present solutions in a pragmatic manner to solve immediate challenges as well as long term strategy.
Key to this role is your ability to bring vision to life and to bring teams along on the journey.
A typical day could include: Lead the technical cloud migration journey, presenting methodologies, workload assessment criteria and helping provide solutions to complex challenges.
Contribute to building strong awareness, presentations and white papers for hybrid cloud platforms - developing long term IT strategies and plans in partnership with our customer architecture and CTO groups.
Work on key research and development activities - translating market-leading insight and innovation to be adopted as platform capabilities for our customers Providing technical leadership and support to cloud delivery teams, with the ability to dive into engineering solutions where necessary Developing internal short, medium and long term strategies to enable the operation teams to obtain cost savings across people, process and technology.
Participating as a subject matter expert in the business development activities including to augment and support the business in all aspects of technical presales Qualifications A cloud specialist, you have a proven track record of delivering long term cloud transformation for your customers, with proven commercial and operational results.
You have held senior level positions, engaging with executive management as a leader, as a peer influencer and subject matter expert in a number of key technology domains.
You have developed solutions in operating model transformation, organizational transformation, technology roadmaps, infrastructure capabilities and desktop services.
The following experience are be highly desirable: Strong Cloud Migration delivery experience is essential, preferably in government organisations across one or more hyperscale cloud providers Proven leadership experience in driving a team to successful outcomes for a customer Experience working with multi-site delivery of application and infrastructure services (e.g., Cloud, data centre).
Experience working with an IT/business consulting organisation (Government or Financial Services experience highly valued).
Ability to demonstrate strong examples of ownership, delivery focus and responsibility.
Government NV1 Clearance desirable University education in a relevant discipline (business and/or IT).
