As a Senior Clinical Social Worker, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred services across the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), including major sites such as the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and community programs.
You'll use your advanced expertise to manage complex caseloads, ensure best-practice service delivery, and advocate for patients on a wide range of issues, driving improved clinical outcomes.In this leadership role, you'll mentor and support less experienced social workers, supervise professional students, and contribute to education, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborating within the CALHN Social Work network, you will play a key role in shaping the future of social work services through evidence-based practices and innovative approaches to care.

To excel in this role, you'll bring: Qualifications and expertise: A social work degree or equivalent qualification eligible for full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers.Skills and abilities: Strong clinical reasoning, leadership within multidisciplinary teams, advanced communication skills, and the ability to foster inclusion, critical thinking, and engagement.Experience: Extensive background in social work clinical specialties, managing complex cases, supervising staff or students, and driving service improvements through evidence-based initiatives.Knowledge: Solid understanding of evidence-based practices, health system dynamics, research methodologies, and compliance with relevant legislation.
