Senior Clinical Psychologist CoordinatorThis is a Recruitment Pool for Casual, Permanent Full Time and Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time and Part Time appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. Seeking experienced Senior Clinical Psychologists to join the Department of Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology at Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group (FSFHG)Multiple Senior Clinical Psychologist Coordinator rolesPosition Profile: Due to the significant growth of our department, we are seeking experienced, compassionate, and patient-centred Senior Clinical Psychologist Coordinators with advanced knowledge and competence in delivering specialised clinical psychology and clinical neuropsychology services to oversee three specialised streams: Acute Medical & Surgical Clinical Stream, Rehabilitation and Aged Care Clinical Stream, and Mental Health Clinical Stream.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide clinical leadership, operational oversight, clinical supervision, and training to a team of skilled and enthusiastic clinical and neuropsychologists within each stream. The role includes a clinical component to provide high quality clinical psychology services, and the scope to work on strategic projects and key initiatives that continue to drive innovation and the quality of our services.
Under the delegation of the Head of Department for Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology, day to day, you will be responsible within the clinical stream for:
Supporting the coordination and delivery of clinical psychology and neuropsychology service priorities as part of a contemporary model of care.Overseeing the operational and clinical coordination, including providing specialised consultation and discipline related education and training.Providing leadership and senior direction within the Department, monitoring, and coordinating service standards, performance development and administrative functions.Practicing as a Senior Clinical Psychologist and ensuring your practice is in accordance with laws and ethical standards governing psychological practice as per the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the Western Australian public sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
