The Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Service provides a tertiary level antenatal and postnatal mental health service for women and infants in the south of the state. Services include triage and assessment, psychological support, medication management, in-reach to the hospital, and outpatient clinics delivered within a multi-disciplinary environment.
The Role: The Senior Clinical Psychologist – CAMHS provides specialist assessment and treatment services to pregnant women involved in antenatal care at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) and follow-up treatment services to mothers/fathers and their infants in the 12 months postpartum.
You will need: Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Psychology Board of AustraliaRegistered with the Psychology Board of AustraliaDetails of appointment: Permanent, part time, day worker position, working up to 15.2 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary range: $123,717 to $134,336 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages AgreementSalary Packaging: You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Please note that access to salaries beyond $130,900 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Psychology Board of AustraliaRegistered with the Psychology Board of AustraliaCurrent Tasmanian Working with Children Registration.Desirable criteria: Expertise in infant mental health and experience in infant mental health/perinatal psychology.Experience in teaching at a postgraduate level.Experience in the clinical supervision of postgraduate clinical students.Expertise in design and conduct of research and data analysis.Note: Please refer to the Application Guide for more information on pre-employment checks.
