)* Full Time, Maximum Term contract Competitive salaries Six (6) weeks' annual leave Generous salary packaging A strong commitment to Professional Development NEW Generous Attraction and Retention Bonus ($10,000 on initial start up, $10,000 after 12 months of continuous service and another $10,000 after 24 months of continuous service - $30,000 over 24 months) About the role The Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist is responsible for conducting neuropsychological assessment and providing intervention strategies for Aboriginal people (18+) who have acquired brain injuries, neurodevelopmental disorders, and/or neurocognitive disorders.
The Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist will contribute to professional development and clinical education for mental health clinicians.
To be considered for this position, you will require: Master's degree or higher in Clinical Neuropsychology with full registration with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and with Clinical Neuropsychology Endorsement.
Demonstrated experience in diagnostic neuropsychological assessments, case formulation, and behavioural interventions planning.
Demonstrated experience in neuropsychological report writing and developing appropriate recommendations for clients, their families, and other care providers.
Demonstrated experience in adjusting communication of neuropsychological assessment for multiple audiences including people with limited literacy and English language skills.
Awareness of Aboriginal culture within Australia's history, knowledge of cultural sensitivities and current issues affecting the lives of Aboriginal people in conjunction with a willingness to incorporate Aboriginal values into clinical practice.
