  About the role The South Australian Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service (SABIRS) is a statewide specialist rehabilitation service for people with acquired brain injury.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Psychologist (up to full-time available) in the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit (BIRU) located at the Repat Health Precinct.As a member of the multidisciplinary team in BIRU, you will deliver psychological services to clients with acquired brain injury.These services will focus on maximising clients' potential to achieve optimum independence and quality of life.Using psychometric and behavioural measures, you will make interpretations of assessment findings and formulate and implement psychological intervention plans in collaboration with patients, carers and relevant other clinicians.You will participate in collaborative patient and team goal setting and discharge planning with a focus on patient-centred care, addressing medical, functional and quality-of-life goals.As part of your role, you may provide clinical support and supervision to less experienced psychologists and students, and contribute to education, quality improvement and planning activities.You may also assist the Principal Clinician, Clinical/Health Psychology SABIRS, and Senior Psychologists by representing the discipline in service development as requested.Working for SABIRS, you will be part of the larger CALHN-wide Psychology team, a highly valued and respected team within CALHN.You will be provided with direct support and supervision, and opportunities for professional development and research, all with a focus on your development as a Psychologist.CALHN Psychology provides a collegial environment designed to foster your clinical skills, knowledge and experience, and to assist you to develop your career further.You will hold an appropriate degree (Master's Degree in Clinical or Health Psychology) or an equivalent qualification, and have general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA).This will be supported by your ability to design, implement and evaluate psychological interventions, and demonstrated capability to provide consultancy services to hospital units and outside agencies.Having worked before in a multidisciplinary team, you will be skilled in managing a client group with complex health, cognitive and psychosocial presentations, and managing work priorities within a fast-paced and dynamic health environment.The position is open at AHP3 or AHP2 level.To be eligible for AHP3, you will hold endorsement in Clinical and/or Health Psychology, and be a board-approved supervisor at all levels.Successful candidate(s) at AHP3 level with a significant level of experience may be considered for
