About the Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a Dietician to join the Chronic Disease Palliative Care multidisciplinary team. The position is based at Redfern Community Health Centre. The role involves the provision of a community-based service across Sydney Local Health District.

The Dietician is expected to provide a high-quality service to patients/clients and carers with a life limiting illness. This will be done through community-based care mainly in the home and at times, virtually as appropriate for the patient/carer's needs. You will be responsible for providing senior clinical leadership within Nutrition and Dietetics service provision, including optimisation of patient/client care delivery, as well as supporting and educating community nursing staff. This position may also be required to provide supervision and direction to Level 1/2 staff, students, allied health assistants and students on observational placements in accordance with the award.

Ideal Candidate Post graduate qualifications or Bachelor Degree that allows eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia, with experience at Level 2 or higher. Demonstrated advanced knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in provision of clinical dietetics, and the ability to work under minimal supervision. Benefits and Perks!
