Your responsibilities will include:Interpreting policy coverage and managing all incoming insurance claims.Settling claims and authorising payments.Working closely with the recoveries team to pursue recovery scenarios.Engaging with external service providers regarding coverage and settlement of claims.Providing insight in mediation and arbitration and discussions.Identifying suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims.Enjoy meeting with clients and providing a consultative, management approach.Engaging with industry events and clients in order to represent the business and engage in market facing opportunities.Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.Skills and Experience:Our client is looking for someone with significant claims management experience in the insurance or legal sector.3-5 years claims management experience in the insurance or legal sector.Strong knowledge of the Insurance Contract Act.
Ability to apply legal principles to the management of claims.Excellent communication, relationship building and negotiation skillsStrong influencing skills and business acumen.Legal tertiary qualifications are highly desirable.
