The opportunity Be part of a supportive team, working together to get things done.Commercial liability portfolio, reporting directly to the National Claims Manager for long tail claims.City Centre Offices - enjoy a flexible, hybrid team.Range of benefits including insurances for Trauma, Income Protection, Total Disability & Life along with discounted health, car, contents & home insurance!Your new role As a Senior Claims Specialist, you will deliver a superior claims service, determining policy coverage, investigating, evaluating, and negotiating resolutions. Other key aspects of your role will include:
Working collaboratively within the team to pro-actively manage your own portfolio general liability claims to a successful resolution.Managing the litigation process in conjunction with our Legal Panel.Building strong and meaningful client and stakeholder relationships by demonstrating positive lines of communication and displaying an empathetic approach that aligns QBE values.Supporting and mentoring Claims Specialists on technical and complex matters as required.About you It's all about the quality not the quantity that sets us apart and creates long term relationships with our stakeholders.
As an experienced Claims Specialist within the insurance industry, you will have:
Fundamental knowledge of insurance industry and claims processes.Experience handling general liability and/or financial lines claims.Strength in collaboration and supporting other viewpoints – a team player.Ability to analyse and negotiate.Ability to resolve conflict, problem solve and influence others.Please note that for the successful candidate, this process will include a phone screen with our Talent Acquisition team, interviews (either face to face or online via Teams) and background checks.
