Manage a portfolio of third party credit hire claims within the Recoveries & Settlements Department, whilst achieving cost effective and quality claims outcomes through robust relationships with team members, internal and external service providers.



Qualifications and Skills:

Experience in managing complex motor insurance or credit hire claims, including exposure to civil litigation, is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously along with proven innovation and solution-based problem-solving skills.
Strong decision-making skills with a proven record of achieving desired cost and service outcomes.
Clear ability to maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.




Responsibilities:

End to End management of a portfolio of credit hire files.
Assess liability and settlement outcomes.
Support third parties through their claims journey.
Negotiate with third parties, insurers and legal representatives including recovery agents and credit hire organisations.
Manage relationships with our panel of legal suppliers.
Follow settlements methodology ensuring company procedures and relevant legislation is adhered to.
Application of Insurance Contracts Act, General Insurance Code of Practice, and other regulatory frameworks.
