Senior Claims Advisor What can you expect? An opportunity has become available for a Senior Claims Advisor to join our Claims team in either Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide or Brisbane.
The successful candidate will operate as an independent individual contributor, providing a high level of claims management services and strategic claims advice to corporate clients and brokers through consulting, advisory, advocacy and negotiation.

We will count on you to: Constantly liaise with clients, insurers, claimants, brokers, Solicitors and Loss Adjusters Learn and interpret policy wordings Arrange and/or conduct investigations Negotiate through the determination and/or settlement process on behalf of your clients Determine claims settlements for under-deductible claims and liaising with the State Manager on complex claims Prepare various client targeted reports including trend analysis Prepare for and attend client meetings, including annual or quarterly claims review meetings Complete general administrative matters including data management and entry, reconciliations invoicing, filing and scanning. What you need to have: 3+ years of Corporate Claims experience (insurance) Exposure to Liability and Industrial Special Risks claims would be highly regarded Compliance with Tier 1 (Insurance Broking) requirements A bachelor's degree in Insurance, Law or a related field ideal but not essential Strong interpersonal skills and a strong customer focus.
