Senior Civil Structural Engineer

About the Role Our client's civil design team is looking for an engineer with experience in the design of overhead lines. Reporting to the Lead Engineer, the Senior Civil Structural Engineer is responsible for working on preliminary engineering design of overhead transmission line, solar farm, and wind farm civil packages.
The Senior Civil Structural Engineer will undertake preliminary design in-house and then management of detailed design to ensure reliability and quality requirements are achieved. The Senior Civil Structural Engineer will collaborate closely with the engineering team to contribute to the successful completion of projects while gaining valuable experience and mentorship.
Responsibilities Manage and perform the design and analysis of civil engineering designs, including site development and drainage systems. Management of detailed engineering design packages. Specifying and providing technical input to basis of designs and reviewing/drafting technical reports. Establishment and continued updating of technical design standards and procedures. Technically support construction teams with procurement and technical queries. Manage and implement design changes and optimisation. Provide mentorship to civil engineers and junior engineers. Conduct quality checks and reviews of design documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Requirements Detailed design engineering experience with bulk earthworks. Essential - Overhead Lines Design. Engineering Qualification.
