North Projects is a specialist advisor and consultancy to property, construction, and development projects nationally.
We deliver successful project outcomes by managing cost, scope, risk, design, feasibility, and programme.
Our clients include State governments, local councils, company boards, financiers, developers, builders, governments, PPP Sponsors, and tertiary education providers.
The opportunity Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will become part of the leadership cohort within our business, developing and mentoring other Estimators throughout their professional journey.
You will lead and complete detailed estimates and apply first principles estimates on prominent infrastructure and water projects across Queensland.
You will work on projects across the complete project lifecycle - from feasibility, options analysis, business case, and hard dollar tender.
Most importantly, you will thrive on the fast-paced and fun environment, managing multiple priorities and working across an assortment of projects on any given day.
About you To be successful in this role you will need to:
Have experience in Australia Civil Infrastructure and water projects in an estimating capacity.Have previous, demonstrated experience managing estimating scope of work, deliverables, schedule, estimate structure, cash flows, and reporting requirements.Have proven first principle estimating experience for direct and indirect costs.Have exposure to design and construction projects (not necessary but will hold your application in high regard).Have a desire and interest in leading and mentoring other estimators throughout their career.Be a confident communicator with clients and stakeholders with strong interpersonal skills.Manage multiple priorities and your time effectively.Why North We are a medium-sized consultancy that has a passion for what we do!
