About the role:Due to growth, we are seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer who has worked in a similar Engineering Consultancy role.
You will report to the Civil Group Leader and be guided and mentored for your own career development.
You will have the opportunity to work towards being the Civil Team Leader in the Sydney office.
There is a hands-on element to the position, but we could accommodate a Senior Civil Engineer interested in project management, team management, and overseeing projects as opposed to being a hands-on technical design engineer.
You will work on a range of projects:
RoadsStormwater managementFlood analysis & reportingResidential / Land developmentEarthworks modellingCivil inspectionsRetaining & pavementsEssential skills that you will require for this role are:Ideally a minimum of 4-5 years of experience working within Civil Design EngineeringExperience gained designing and managing projects with minimal supervisionUndertaking regular coordination and interface with key clients and stakeholdersMust have experience with MUSIC and DRAINS; experience gained working with Civil 3D will be highly beneficialTertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or similarStrong interpersonal and communication skills, especially report writingExcellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standardsWhy apply?The above position provides an excellent opportunity to join an established and thriving Engineering Design company, as well as an attractive salary, benefits, and an employee wellness scheme.
