Senior Civil Engineer

Join a multidisciplinary team of Engineers and Designers working across a diverse range of projects.
This role will be initially dedicated to our client sustaining capital portfolio but would have further opportunities to support future major projects.
The Senior Civil Engineer will provide technical engineering expertise on pre-feasibility studies, feasibility studies, detailed design and execution phases.
This role is based conveniently in the Perth CBD with easy access to public transport. Our client also offers excellent end of trip facilities.
Perm/Staff at a leading consultancyJoin a professional team where diversity is encouragedAccess to work on a diverse range of projectsGreat social/team environmentFlexible working arrangementsResponsibilities: Prepare schedules for engineering designs, monitor the progress of the work and supervise the preparation of preliminary and detailed designs, specifications and documentation for all project work.Prepare and review engineering calculations and technical specifications.Provide technical guidance and advice to the project team.Lead and mentor junior engineers on projects.Liaise with key stakeholders and encourage positive relationships.Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil engineeringStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated experience working for an Engineering Consultancy on mining projects.Experience across a broad range of civil engineering scopes of work – earthworks, concrete packages, drainage, access roads, non-process infrastructure, tailings, pipelines etc.ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE PERMANENT RESIDENCY OR CITIZENSHIP WITHIN AUSTRALIA.
