Senior Civil Engineer About the Role: Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team in Perth. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a range of sustaining capital projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality, innovative solutions.
Key Details: Location: Perth Duration: 12 months Reporting to: Civil Structural Department Manager Responsibilities: As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will:
Lead the technical delivery of civil engineering elements, including access roads, earthwork pads, and tank storage farms. Manage interfaces with existing underground services. Participate in meetings, prepare progress reports, and follow checking procedures. Ensure clarity of project scope and adherence to change management processes. Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning. Act as the civil engineering lead on a range of projects. Resolve discrepancies between project requirements and deliverables. Communicate effectively with the team and project stakeholders. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline. Extensive experience in civil engineering design within the mining, energy, and/or infrastructure sectors. Proficiency in bulk earthworks design, drainage, and heavy pavement design. Experience in calculation packages. Exposure to software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, and 12D is beneficial. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong technical and practical engineering skills. Knowledge of local and international standards and regulatory requirements. Experience in civil design in the Pilbara region is advantageous.
