Senior Civil Engineer

A senior Civil Design Engineering Leader is needed for this rapidly expanding firm. Your new company This nationally renowned consultancy has a strong focus on achieving engineering excellence through collaboration, innovation and a deep understanding of their client's needs. They have been very successful since entering the local market and are responsible for the engineering of some of Hobart's most recent commercial buildings. Your new role This newly created leadership opportunity will see you influencing the civil design services this firm delivers to the local market. You'll be responsible for the design and engineering of the civil infrastructure largely associated with multi-storey developments. You'll be leading a small technical team to ensure your clients' design requirements are fulfilled. What you'll need to succeed As an experienced Civil Engineer, you'll need to be degree qualified with deep expertise in the design and delivery of civil assets associated with commercial building developments. You'll be an expert, but not limited to the design of earthworks, site preparation, drainage, access roads, car-parks, pavement and associated storm-water / hydraulics design. You'll be extremely knowledgeable about local codes and standards coupled with current local design experience across a similar scope of projects.
