Senior Civil Engineer

We are currently searching for a Senior Site Engineer to work with a contractor specialising in reinforced concrete works, with bases in England and Scotland. The initial project would see you coming prior to the sub and structure works commencing. The superstructure will be RC Frame and you will be responsible for setting out and quality assurance of this package.As Site Engineer you will be the technical lead on site supporting the Project Manager throughout the sub and superstructure build.Responsibilities:* Ensure that all setting out is completed accurately and to the required standards* Prepare and maintain accurate records of setting out information* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety regulations* Liaise with site management and subcontractors to ensure smooth running of the project* Attend regular site meetings to provide updates on progress and any issues encountered* Provide technical support to other members of the team as required* Work closely with the project team to ensure deadlines are metRequirements:* Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer is essential* Degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or related discipline* Strong knowledge of setting out techniques and equipment* Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team* Proficient in the use of relevant software and toolsIf you are a motivated individual with a passion for civil engineering and a desire to lead impactful projects, we encourage you to apply.
