Bornhorst + Ward is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic design team. We need someone who can work independently, as well as collaborate within a team environment. As part of our team, you will work on a wide range of exciting projects, from subdivisions and private/commercial developments to large-scale infrastructure projects like main roads and bulk earthworks.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the design and delivery of civil works, including subdivisions, property development, roadways, carparks, stormwater, sewer, and water reticulation.Work with clients and local authorities to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulations.Mentor junior staff and work alongside other senior engineers to achieve project goals.Demonstrate leadership by managing teams, clients, and contractors to deliver on time and within scope.Proficiency in 2D flood modelling is highly desirable.Key Requirements: Minimum of 7 years' experience in civil engineering with a strong focus on design and site works.Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Revit.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Experience with 12D or similar design software.Proven ability to manage and lead design teams.Understanding of civil construction practices and design principles.Experience in liaising with clients, local authorities, and contractors.Why Join Bornhorst + Ward?At Bornhorst + Ward, we prioritize your professional and personal growth.
