Queensland Rail have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer in our SEQ Track and Civil Engineering team. This role is primarily responsible for providing technical engineering advice to a variety of external and internal clients to assist in providing engineering solutions across Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
Working autonomously to provide engineering technical services to achieve objectives against specific KPIs, budgets and timeframes.
Provide engineering support on a variety of track and civil engineering projects.
Managing resources, consultants, and contracts to assist in the delivery of safe, timely and commercially sound engineering solutions.
Candidate Requirements
We are seeking interest from candidates who have:
Experience in providing engineering design and technical support.
Experience providing this support in a rail environment is highly regarded.
A high level of skill in providing civil engineering support.
Drainage, stormwater, civil and track experience is highly advantageous.
Proven ability in relationship management including negotiating critical outcomes, problem solving and networking with and influencing key stakeholders.
A commitment to a value-engineering approach.
Proven ability to handle multiple high priority/pressure projects at any one time and apply strong prioritisation.
3 – 6 years of relevant experience will be highly desired.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland Certification (RPEQ).
Formal qualifications not issued in Australia will need to be recognised under the Washington Accord and or demonstrated by 'an entry to practice competently' having been awarded to you by Engineers Australia and accepted by Queensland Rail.
