The Role
The BG&E Civil Engineering team is well established with a reputation as an industry leader with our diverse client base for providing innovative design solutions in complex brownfield environments. Our projects include everything from upgrades to existing facilities to complete new builds with construction values in excess of $100M. We are proud of our project portfolio which continues to include some of the most significant civil infrastructure projects in WA.
We are now looking for a senior to associate level civil engineer with specialist expertise in drainage to join our established team and collaborate on a range of projects across all phases of the project life cycle from planning, detailed design, construction support to asset management. This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop and enhance your career on a range of projects in one of the most talented and respected teams in the business.

About you
You will be responsible for contributing to various projects, delivering innovative and technical advice and designs, and for serving as a key contact for clients. You will work on a broad range of projects for urban redevelopment, highways, and rail, among others.
As a professional engineer you will have:
Bachelor of Engineering degree.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in civil engineering with at least 4 years of drainage design experience.
Demonstrated experience in designing drainage for urban infrastructure projects, preferably to Main Roads Western Australia design standards.
Demonstrated competency with drainage design software potentially including 12D drainage, Drains, or OpenRoads (Drainage).
The ability to work well within a team environment.
