Kehoe Myers Consulting Engineers are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Designer to join our team in our Toowoomba office.
This is a full-time position and will be responsible for designing civil engineering projects across a range of sectors.
What you'll be doing Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and designs for a variety of projectsUtilise computer-aided design (CAD) software to create complex designs and drawingsWork collaboratively with the engineering team to ensure project requirements are metLiaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholdersProvide technical advice and guidance to junior designers and draftersEnsure all work adheres to relevant standards, regulations and best practiceWhat we're looking for Experience with AutoCAD, 12D, Civil 3D software programs required.Technical design/documentation of individual project components.Drafting of Detail Design PlansDesign and documentation of client projects.Interpreting and applying relevant Australian Standards.Coordinate work with other disciplines.On-site inspections, including professional and polite advice to project stakeholders.Monitoring project timeframes and reporting to Project Leaders and Project Directors.Work collaboratively with colleagues.Mentor and support Engineers and Design Technicians.Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and project delivery.What we offer At Kehoe Myers Consulting Engineers, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive and collaborative work environment.
