As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex civil engineering projects, with a focus on land development, road design, and stormwater drainage systems.
You will utilize your expertise in 12D, DRAINS, AutoCAD, AutoTurn, and MUSIC to develop efficient and effective engineering solutions that meet client and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Design Leadership:
Lead the design and documentation of civil engineering projects, including land subdivisions, road networks, drainage systems, and water-sensitive urban design (WSUD) features.Technical Proficiency:
Utilize advanced skills in 12D, DRAINS, AutoCAD, AutoTurn, and MUSIC to create detailed design models, drawings, and simulations that optimize project outcomes.Project Management:
Oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of design tasks to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.Quality Assurance:
Review and approve design work, ensuring compliance with relevant Australian standards, local government regulations, and best practices.Client Collaboration:
Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to understand project requirements, provide technical advice, and deliver tailored solutions.Mentorship:
Guide and mentor junior engineers and designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.Sustainability Focus:
Integrate WSUD principles and sustainable design practices into projects to enhance environmental outcomes and compliance with industry standards.Regulatory Compliance:
