Role Overview
As a Senior Cisco Network/Security Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex networks that ensure the security and reliability of our systems. Your expertise will drive excellence, ensuring seamless operations and alignment with business requirements. Key Responsibilities
Network Design and Implementation:
Lead the design and implementation of Cisco networking solutions.
Configure and optimize Cisco equipment, including Catalyst C8300, C9400, and Nexus 9300 series switches.
Ensure scalability, security, and performance of our network infrastructure.
Security Infrastructure
Expertise in designing and configuring the Cisco Secure Firewall 3130 ASA Appliance.
Make informed decisions regarding network security measures, data protection, and encryption.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in network security technology.
Collaboration And Troubleshooting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan network upgrades and enhancements.
Swiftly troubleshoot network issues and document solutions.
Provide technical assistance to end-users experiencing network-related problems.
Training And Documentation
Conduct training sessions for employees on our secure networking infrastructure.
Create detailed reports and diagrams to document network security operations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Cisco Network/Security Engineer, with expertise in IP routing, switching, and wireless access points.
Strong knowledge of Cisco Catalyst C8300, C9400, Nexus 9300 series switch, and Cisco Secure Firewall 3130 ASA Appliance.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
Certifications: Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are highly desirable.
