We are seeking a wonderful Senior Childcare Worker (Cook) to join our Rosny Early Learning service, based in Montagu Bay on the Eastern Shore of Clarence. The service is a not for profit, community-based centre owned and operated by Clarence City Council.
Our vision is to provide a safe, happy, enriched, and sustainably minded environment which encircles children, families, service staff and our community. The team at the Rosny Early Learning service puts families and children at the forefront of everything they do.
Our service opened in 1988 and has an excellent reputation in the community as a provider of quality education and care. We cater for up to 38 children across three age-based rooms.
About youAn ability to support the health and wellbeing of children by providing nutritious, culturally sensitive and seasonal menus for children enrolled in our service.An ability to ensure the safety of children in our care, by planning and preparing meals in line with dietary and allergen requirements.An ability to maintain the highest standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is in line with legislation and quality standards.Creativity and organisational skills to plan menus and order supplies.An ability to actively contribute to food-based experiences in collaboration with our dedicated team of educators.An ability to contribute to exceeding outcomes for children and educators.What we offer youA base salary between $59,752.57 and $60,930.51 (pro-rata) will be offered to the preferred candidate + 12.5% superannuation.
The role is ongoing and part-time. The work pattern is Mondays: 8 am – 1 pm and Tuesdays to Fridays: 9 am – 1 pm.
