Senior Chef

We are looking for a highly experienced chef to join our team. The expected start date of this position will be as soon as possible.ResponsibilitiesThe day-to-day running of our fast-paced café kitchenStock control and orderingCreating new dishes for our menuEstimate the cost for the labour and ingredients to ensure that the menu is profitableFood safety officer (Temp checks, cleanliness & hygiene standards)Working closely with the directors to continue growing the businessTrain and supervise kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performanceThe Must-Have Requirements:At least 3 years of work experience in a similar roleHas qualification in Hospitality Management and Commercial Cookery (Preferably Certificate III and Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality Management)Has excellent communication and leadership skillsHas the passion to make the kitchen their ownHas the ability to work on their own as well as work in a teamThe successful candidate will receive a gross annual salary between AUD70,000 to AUD85,000 depending on the skills and experience.Interested?
