About the role:
The Senior Chef de Partie's primary responsibility is to support the Head Chef with managing the kitchen operations in a safe and efficient manner. They are responsible for the highest standard of food production and output of menus, food production and own meals, safety, assist in training of Commis and Demi Chefs and Cooks, personal hygiene and good member relations.
We are looking for that exceptional someone who will have a passion for delivering high-quality food to our diners and who will be able to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented work environment.
Key Responsibilities Food Service Operations: Maintain food safety while carrying out food handling activities and comply with hygienic work practices and appropriate WHS guidelines.Hygiene and Food Safety: Maintain the highest level of food safety and hygiene in accordance with food safety guidelines and club policies and procedures.Quality Control: Receive, store, maintain, and rotate kitchen supplies. Report any inconsistencies to the Head Chef.Workplace Relations: Assist with building a strong team by maintaining a harmonious and mutually beneficial working relationship with staff, management, and customers in a pressured environment.Team Management: Assist with building a strong team by maintaining a harmonious and mutually beneficial working relationship with staff, management, and customers in a pressured environment.Communication: Maintain effective communication with all key stakeholders including senior management, line managers, and junior kitchen staff.Work, Safety, Health and Compliance: Actively support a range of activities in accordance with Work, Health & Safety legislation obligations and in line with Norths Risk Management Program as well as HACCP audit compliance.
