Our Simberi Operations consist of an open cut mine on the northernmost island in the Tabar group of islands in the province of New Ireland in Papua New Guinea. We are currently seeking a Senior Change Specialist to join our team. This is a three-year max term full time position at our Simberi Operation. Your work location is Papua New Guinea, working a 21/14 FIFO Roster from any Australian capital city.
Reporting to the Manager Finance and Administration, you will collaborate and align Simberi's development, evolution and implementation of change management and process improvement capabilities to ensure delivery of the Company's strategic objectives.
The opportunity Assisting the Manager Finance and Administration with the planning, reviewing and implementation of the Company's comprehensive change management framework. Coordinating measurable process improvement initiatives along with planning and managing effective project monitoring as part of the Company's reporting framework. Improving the management of site processes. Working with process owners to focus on continuous improvement and eradication of inefficiencies. Delivering training and coaching in problem solving methodologies along with tools and support to build a training culture across the workplace. Engaging with key stakeholders at all levels to drive awareness, understanding and support for key change initiatives and ensure seamless implementation. Monitoring and reporting on progress of change projects by adjusting strategies as required along with managing risks and resolving issues that affect change projects scope, quality and timelines. We would love to hear from you if you have: Previous relevant experience in a similar role. Degree in Commercial, Engineering or Systems. Demonstrated capability in design, development and change management process improvement initiatives. Proficiency in developing and facilitating training programs for staff to adapt to new systems and processes. Strong influencing and communication skills, including communicating with people from different backgrounds and cultures. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience in Business Improvement methodologies. Ability to encourage a commitment to action the development of lasting personal growth and change.
