We are seeking an experienced Centre Director for a permanent full-time opportunity at our Ropes Crossing centre. This 138-place service has fantastic modern facilities offering state-of-the-art infrastructure to support our educators and children.
About the Position: As a Senior Centre Director, you will manage and support an established team of educators and build strong positive relationships with families. You will genuinely love children and enjoy the opportunity to model best practices to educators in the centre.
Core Responsibilities: Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the centreLead, motivate and support the teamMaintain a high-quality and performing centreA continuous increase in occupancy and maintaining a strong reputation across the communityEnsure the Centre is compliant and exceeds all the regulatory requirements listed in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, with a focus on providing an excellent level of education and care to the children.What We Are Looking For: A completed Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent)Excellent understanding of the National Quality Framework, including the National Quality Standards, knowledge of Qikkids and CCMS administration and the national assessment and rating systemAt least 3 years experience as a Nominated SupervisorKnowledge of relevant legislative documents applicable to the Early Childhood sectorDemonstrated experience in leading and managing a team with practical skills in conflict resolution and implementing performance review processesDemonstrated ability to establish a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement across teamsPossess a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)Current First Aid/CPR including Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificatesWhy Work for MindChamps?
