Senior Category Specialist - Voltage-Reactive Power Systems And Power Quali

Are you a seasoned professional with expertise in Voltage Control, Reactive Power Management, and Power Quality Systems?
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Category Specialist to lead and implement category strategies for critical materials and equipment, ensuring optimal sourcing and servicing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, standardize, and maintain strategies for voltage control and power quality.Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, OEMs, and external consultants.Lead the planning, procurement, and execution of voltage control and reactive power systems.Mitigate risks and manage solutions for voltage instability, including low-frequency oscillations between reactive power systems and inverter-based generators.Oversee equipment design, factory testing, site energization, and network performance testing.Participate in network planning and modeling workshops, providing expert guidance on equipment sizing and performance.Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams, optimizing sourcing strategies and supplier performance.Manage vendor approvals, factory audits, and contractual obligations to ensure project success.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Extensive experience in the electricity supply industry, particularly with complex Voltage Control and Reactive Power Management Systems.Strong knowledge of HV/EHV substation design and related equipment (e.g., transformers, circuit breakers, capacitor banks).Proven track record in managing large-scale projects, from design through commissioning.Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.What We Offer: A challenging and rewarding role with opportunities to make a significant impact.Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and best practices in the industry.A collaborative work environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement.Special Conditions: Travel may be required for site inspections and supplier audits, including international travel.If you are a results-driven professional with the expertise and passion for leading high-impact projects in Voltage-Reactive Power Systems, we want to hear from you!
