We have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced, hardworking and reliable carpenter to join our expanding team in a lead/senior position.
Perks of being part of the Evolve Team: $35-$40 per hour + super Fuel card 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities available Weekly pay Uniform provided Personal development training available Immediate employment available Tasks & responsibilities: A variety of carpentry works including but not limited to Frame and Truss Installation, Cabinetry, Sheeting, Cladding Installation, Eaves, Fix out and Fit off, Decking, Intricate carpentry work & New Homes. Studying building plans and drawings to work out the materials required and how best to install features. Candidates will at times need to work at heights, lift heavy items and use some plant/equipment with training available. Applicants will be able to work alone and as part of the team whilst producing quality work in a safe manner. Maintain superior craftsmanship and uphold quality standards throughout construction phases. Engage with clients and represent the company with professionalism and a customer-focused approach. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified carpenter with 5 years experience in a similar role. Certificate III in Carpentry. Well-rounded experience in Residential carpentry. Exceptional communication skills. Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team. Ability to mentor and guide less experienced team members including apprentices. Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think proactively with a high level of detail. Physically fit and capable of handling manual labor tasks. Professionalism and well-groomed appearance for client interactions. Valid driver's license & reliable working vehicle. Own tools.
