This opportunity is for you!Anglicare seeks a Senior Carer Assessment Practitioner to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will assess and train foster and kinship carers across Southern and Western NSW, ensuring they provide therapeutic care to children and young people. You'll have the flexibility to work from home and in the office, giving you the balance you need.The core responsibilities of this role include:Conducting comprehensive assessments of foster and kinship carers to ensure they can provide therapeutic care to children and young people.Delivering training to prospective carers, including therapeutic care and psychoeducation, to prepare them for their roles.Collaborating with the case management team to provide integrated, trauma-informed services aligned with the Sanctuary Model.Developing and implementing culturally informed practices when working with Aboriginal children, families, and carers.Ensuring compliance and integrity checks are completed for all carer applicants and maintaining accurate records.What We Offer:Salary ranges from $97,377 to $101,784 annually, plus 11.5% superannuation.Generous salary packaging option available under our PBI status.Additional personal leave and paid parental leave.Supportive team environment.What You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field (or working towards it).At least 2 years working with vulnerable families and conducting comprehensive assessments.Experience working with Aboriginal people, families, and communities using a strengths-based, culturally inclusive approach.Excellent report writing, communication, and organisational abilities, committed to trauma-informed practices.Ready to Apply?Submit your CV and cover letter on the Anglicare website today!For more information, contact Kaylene Arnell at (02) 6937 1555 (during business hours).All applicants will undergo psychometric profiling, and you must obtain a Working With Children Check and a National Criminal History Check prior to employment.
