Description We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Capital Works and Operations Manager to oversee critical infrastructure projects, optimize operational processes, and drive strategic improvements within our organization.
This is a remote work from home position with travel required.

The Position: The Senior Capital Works and Operations Manager is responsible to oversee, co-ordinate, monitor and deliver Projects as well as oversee, co-ordinate, monitor and evaluate an efficient and effective preventative and corrective maintenance program for buildings, equipment and grounds at the facility.
Key responsibilities: Responsibility for the day-to-day management of multiple property projects concurrently Representation and ownership on behalf of Property for large/complex Projects of which Property is a stakeholder.
Understanding, comprehension and documentation the actual requirements of Respect's various business units as required for a property outcome such as writing and reviewing property project design briefs.
Assessment and recommendation through market review the feasibility and sensitivity analysis new property outcomes as required in line with Respect Group's investment requirements.
Develop, employ, demonstrate, and mentor best project management discipline.
Assemble high performing project teams for the successful delivery of all elements of the property development/construction cycle, including (as required), design, statutory approvals, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover Management and control of all Project related contracts and subcontracts including procurement, contracting, cost, quality, and time related elements.
Compilation of all development or construction related compliance certificates, permits, occupancy as required to complete or take possession of a property outcome.
Determine and co-ordinate defects rectification Clean handover of completed projects to the necessary Business unit Requirements Essential: Current Drivers License.
Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
Minimum of 5+ years' experience in Property Development, Property Consulting or Construction as a Project Manager / Senior Project manager or Development / Senior Development Manager involving industrial property project outcomes of differing sizes, scopes, and complexities.
Desirable: Understanding and use of Project Management principles and methodology.
Awareness of and the ability to embed OH&S practices and procedures.
Experience in the creation, management, coordination, and effective delivery of property, construction and lease documentation through Heads of Agreement, Agreement for Lease and Lease.
Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, contract law, acts, codes, and regulations in relation to Property related outcomes.
Experience and knowledge of budget monitoring, cost control and contractor performance management.
