Council is seeking a suitably qualified individual to join the Survey and Design team in the role of Senior CAD Officer.
The successful candidate will support the Survey and Design team in preparing professional engineering plans/ drawings to agreed standards of presentation using AUTOCAD for various Council sections.

The role of our Senior CAD Officer includes:
Prepare professional engineering plans/drawings to agreed standards of presentation using AUTOCAD for various Council sections.
All allocated design tasks are completed on time and in accordance with agreed performance targets.
Raising, coordinating and payment of Purchase Orders in accordance with guidelines.
Maintain Library of Standards and guidelines to meet current requirements.
Prepare graphic material for other sections within Council, as required.
What we are seeking in our new team member:
Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Certificate in Engineering Drafting and/or certificate in CAD Drafting,
Surveying or a related field
White Card - General Construction Induction
Drivers Licence (Class C) – NSW
Sound knowledge and experience in the preparation and presentation of civil engineering plans (minimum 5 years' experience) together with computer aided drafting techniques and programs e.g.
AUTOCAD.
Knowledge in the use of GIS Computer Mapping Software.
