Senior Buyer - Dresses

Salary: AUD$120000 - AUD$140000 per annum + competitive relocation & benefits
We have the most amazing opportunity for a Senior Buyer across Dresses to join a beautiful premium womenswear brand. They are a feminine global brand who focus on good quality product and sustainability.
Based in Australia, you will be responsible for creating product collections focusing on Dresses and working collaboratively with the Merchandising team. You will review trade, identify opportunities, and stay ahead of the trends. As a key member of the buying team, you will demonstrate commercial awareness, creativity, and the ability to identify opportunities.
The role is based overseas, offering a highly competitive salary and relocation package. This company does support relocation for partners and/or dependents if necessary.
Main responsibilities will include:
Provide strategic direction and input into the future development of the womenswear dresses category.
Work closely with a dedicated Designer to bring products to life that meet the needs of the customer while remaining brand relevant.
Ensure you have your finger on the pulse of emerging trends and the ability to adapt these accordingly to their customer base.
Present key best sellers and trade opportunities in weekly Trade meetings in an effective and to-the-point manner.
Responsible for sales and trade, reviewing trading opportunities and ways to increase margin to maximize profit.
Oversee the range building process for your product areas to deliver innovation, speed to market, and calculated risks in new trends.
Meet the requirements of a balanced range from the mixes set out by the Planning department.
Responsible for a Buyer and Assistant Buyer.
Person Specifications:
Ability to foresee key trends across womenswear.
Exceptional product knowledge and technical expertise within ladies' fashion.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to present in trade and sign-offs to all levels.
Ability to coach, develop, and lead a team.
Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
