Details: Sport and Recreation are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join the ACT Academy of Sport (ACTAS) team as the Senior Business Support Officer. The Senior Business Support Officer is part of a dynamic team of high-performance sport professionals. This position involves working with the ACTAS Director, the Sport and Recreation Executive Branch Manager, three Assistant Directors, performance services staff, sports medicine providers and coaches. This position provides a high level of business administration and support services inclusive of budget development, financial management and human resources support.
This position is located at the Australian Institute of Sport in Bruce, ACT.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Current ACT Working with Vulnerable Peoples Check (or an ability to obtain).Play by the Rules – Child Safeguarding and Sport Induction e-Learning course completion (or an ability to obtain) - https://elearning.sportintegrity.gov.au/Experience with and thorough knowledge of existing ACT Government financial systems (APIAS, P2P, Oracle), processes and budgeting.Experience working within a sporting environment.Current CPR and First Aid Certificate.2024 Sport Integrity Australia (SIA) Certificate - https://elearning.sportintegrity.gov.au/Note: This is a temporary position available for a period of 12 months. Estimate commencement date is late November - early December 2024. An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
