Senior Business Services Accountant

About the Role Lead Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Services Accountant to join their Business Services and Advisory team in Perth. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and develop a unique blend of taxation, management accounting, and professional services skills.
Key Responsibilities Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT, or payroll tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts. Utilize a range of accounting software, including Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks, to deliver high-quality services to clients. Provide tax planning and business advisory services to clients, analyzing financial and non-financial information to assist them in monitoring performance. Develop strong relationships with clients and seek to further these relationships through quality product delivery. Recognize potential additional work opportunities among current clients and actively promote the firm and its services to both clients and associates. Contribute to team training and mentoring, helping to grow the team's knowledge and contribute to the business as a whole. Requirements 3+ years' experience in Business Services, with strong technical skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar, with working towards or completed CA/CPA qualifications. Solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Expertise using accounting software, including APS, MYOB, and cloud-based tools, such as Xero and QuickBooks. Work rights, Australian Citizenship, or hold Permanent Residency status in Australia.
