Senior Business Services AccountantLead Group, a renowned business advisory firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their Business Services and Advisory team in Melbourne. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and develop a unique blend of taxation, management accounting, and professional services skills.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT, or payroll tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts.Utilize a range of accounting software, including Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks, to deliver high-quality services.Provide tax planning and business advisory services to clients, analyzing financial and non-financial information to assist them in monitoring performance.Develop strong relationships with clients and promote the firm's services through quality product delivery.Identify potential additional work opportunities among current clients and actively promote the firm and its services.Contribute to team training and mentoring, helping to grow the team's knowledge and contribute to the business as a whole.Requirements: 3+ years of experience in Business Services, with strong technical skills.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar field, with working towards or completed CA/CPA qualifications.A solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Expertise in accounting software, including APS, MYOB, and cloud-based tools.Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency status, or work rights.About Lead Group: Lead Group actively supports career progression and offers opportunities for professional development.
