Amazon's Retail team, located in Sydney, is looking for a Senior Program Manager with a passion for solving for and delivering supplier growth orientated initiatives in a scalable manner. Working with various stakeholders, within Australia and globally, you will be responsible for the delivery of top line performance metrics across a large supplier base. To effectively deliver this performance, you will be required to work both tactically and strategically to identify and act on opportunities. You will be required to deliver on these opportunities by partnering with multiple teams at both an executional level and by generating buy-in on long term strategic initiative development.

As the Senior Program Manager for growth, you will be passionate about getting hands-on with data to identify root causes and then developing, deploying, and iterating on solutions to deliver tangible growth for your suppliers. The ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task is a must. The successful candidate will be eager to learn and able to work autonomously within a fast-moving and often ambiguous environment. They will have a track record of excellent project management skills where they have owned the design and delivery of strategic revenue and growth initiatives that have resulted in exceeding business financial KPIs. They will be an effective written and verbal communicator with experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across different geographies to communicate a strategic vision and generate buy-in.

Key job responsibilities
• Develop and own the delivery of a multi-year vendor growth strategy roadmap. Continually iterate on this with new initiatives and insights each year.
• Achieve business and financial objectives to drive growth of Amazon's Retail business through your managed vendor base
• Conduct regular deep dives using large data sets to identify root causes and diagnose performance of a large vendor base. Engage in short to medium term actions to improve performance based on these insights.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to align on performance objectives, provide updates, and identify new opportunities
• Engage in continual process iteration to deliver ongoing efficiency improvements and scale your processes across the broader vendor management business when relevant
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Demonstrated track record of success in meeting and exceeding business and/or financial KPIs
- Experience with large data sets and insight generation using Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools
- Experience driving direction and alignment across cross-functional internal teams
- Ability to work autonomously within a fast-moving and often ambiguous environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Experience with SQL to conduct analysis on large and complex data sets to form insights
